Entrepreneurship San Francisco

On this program you will spend two inspiring weeks in the start-up launchpad of the world, Silicon Valley. With a select cohort of future entrepreneurs you will have the opportunity to learn from world-class thought leaders and mentors, and work hands-on in a Silicon Valley start-up. Delivered in partnership with the Hacker Exchange [HEX], an educational service that connects the Australian startup community to the Silicon Valley ecosystem.

Social Enterprise Indonesia

RMIT, School of Management is collaborating with CERES Global to deliver a complete cultural, educational, experiential immersion program in August 2017. CERES Global has 10 years of international community development and partnership building experience, returning annually to various Indonesian communities to develop rapport.

As part of RMIT’s GEIP program social enterprise stream, participants will engage communities, organisations, business, education and government institutions, and have the opportunity to participate in cross cultural discussion applying learning to real life social enterprise case studies.

Entrepreneurship China

The start up movement is real and it’s here. In hundreds of cities around the world, thousands of new entrepreneurs are dreaming, emerging and seeking to build the next great thing. As young people, we do not want to follow the traditional path of working in big corporations. Instead, we want to have ownership of our work, exercise our creativity and work for our passions.

AIESEC’s Start Up program gives opportunities to young people to be part of start up globally. It is a 6-12 week unpaid internships in start-ups in the field of project managementmarketingsalesand IT. With the nature of start-up, interns will learn all aspects of the business and, at the same time, have the flexiblility and willingness to deliver whatever the start-up needs in order to grow.

Bright Sparks - Female Leadership Program

Bright Sparks is a leadership program for women at RMIT. It is designed to inspire, connect and prepare the next generation of female leaders at RMIT. The program is open to RMIT students, staff and alumni who have graduated within the past 3 years.

Entrepreneurship and Logistics Indonesia

You will travel to Indonesia over your summer break on a unique program incorporating entrepreneurship and logistics. 

The first ten days will be spent at one of the top Universities in Indonesia, Institute of Technology Surabaya, participating in the CommTech program focussed on sociopreneurship. You'll then travel to Jakarta to learn about the food logistics industry, meeting with local companies before competing in a Hackathon. 

The main event: Hackathon

You will put into practice a number of the skills that you learn in Surabaya and in the early parts of the program in Jakarta. This will be a major event and will bring together students from a few Australian universities as well as a number of Indonesian universities, including UPH. The event is being sponsored by East Ventures (http://east.vc/), a large Asian venture capital company.

Internship Indonesia

This program, run by ACICIS, is an opportunity for students of business, management and marketing, or early career business professionals, to gain valuable experience working in the field of business and commerce in Indonesia. Host Organisations are drawn from a wide range of Jakarta’s business and industry sectors including: banking and finance, infrastructure and mining, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), creative industries, the Indonesian Stock Exchange, Indonesian Ministries of Finance and Trade, as well as chambers of commerce.

Internship Indonesia

On this program you will complete a three-week group internship in your discipline area in the bustling metropolis of Jakarta. Outside of work hours the program will comprise business, NGO and government visits, networking events and capacity-building workshops to help you build your professional skill set. Before your internship begins, you will also spend a week in Yogyakarta, the cultural capital of Indonesia. This program will give you an in-depth and balanced insight into working in the Asia-Pacific, as well as developing your professional skills and connections, even in four short weeks.
